About Cornerstone

The cornerstone is the first and most important stone laid in the foundation of a building. In the Bible, the cornerstone is a reference to Jesus; He refers to Himself as the cornerstone when He quotes from Psalms 118: 22-23,

"The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone.
This is the Lord’s doing;
It is marvelous in our eyes."

Aloha!

Welcome to Cornerstone Christian Church. Thank you for visiting our website. Whether you are visiting Maui or live here, we would be very happy for you to join us for our Sunday worship service from 9:30 to 11:00 o’clock in the morning. May the Aloha spirit of love, hospitality and friendship bring us closer together as we share in the breaking of bread and partaking of the Lord's Supper. May our joy in worshipping and fellowshipping together as a community of faith leave a lasting impression upon all of us. We hope and pray that your visit with us will bring you peace and joy. We anxiously await to meet you.

Mahalo!

Who We Are:

Cornerstone Christian Church Maui was founded in 2016 to worship God and serve the Maui community and the residents of Kihei and South Maui. In choosing the name Cornerstone, we acknowledge Jesus as the cornerstone of the church, and a sure foundation upon which to build.

“Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.”

Ephesians 2:19-22 (NIV)

At Cornerstone Christian Church, we, as a family of believers, continually study the Bible.  We seek to understand the truth of the scriptures, and apply the truth to the church and our everyday lives. Our goal is to be pleasing to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in all that we say and do.

We are incorporated as a nonprofit corporation in the State of Hawaii and designated by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization.
